Terms of Service

The Bhoomi Initiative conducts research to understand how people interact with AI generated content and to collect high quality, community grounded feedback. This research helps build more helpful, fair, and accurate AI systems for underrepresented communities, languages, and regions.

We value your honest feedback. Your thoughts help us understand users better, allowing us to improve our ideas, products, and services. This study is not an evaluation of you it is an evaluation of what we are creating. Your contribution directly shapes the next generation of AI models.

Participation in this research study is entirely voluntary. By creating an account and participating, you confirm that:

• You are at least eighteen (18) years old.
• You are not violating any agreements that you have with other people or organisations.
• You have been invited through an authorised workshop session and hold a valid Workshop ID.

You are not required to participate, and there is no penalty if you decline. At any time during your participation, you may stop, take a break, or skip any question you do not wish to answer. The research team also reserves the right to end the study at any time.

When you participate in the study, you may provide comments, feedback, ratings, edits, ideas, or other information relating to AI generated content and products. Please be aware that when you share this information in the course of the study, we may use it without restriction to improve AI technology for everyone.

If we use your feedback in this way, there will be no additional compensation beyond any thank-you gift described at the time of your workshop invitation.

We welcome your opinions, but please do not share any confidential or private information about other people or companies during the study sessions.

Everything shared with you during the research study including prompts, AI outputs, internal tooling, experimental features, and any unpublished materials constitutes confidential information belonging to the research initiative and its partners.

By creating an account and participating, you agree that you will not photograph, record, screen capture, or otherwise share any confidential information with anyone outside the study for a period of five(5) years from the date of your participation.

To thank you for your time and effort, you will receive the gift described when you first learned about the study through your workshop invitation. You will receive this gift even if you choose to skip questions or if the study ends early. The thank you gift is not a form of compensation such as a salary or payment for work or employment. Participating in this study is not a form of employment, nor does it create any agency or partnership relationship.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. If there is ever a dispute, the exclusive venue for resolving that dispute will be the courts of competent jurisdiction where the research organisation is established, unless applicable local law requires otherwise. Where local law prevents disputes from being resolved in that jurisdiction, disputes will be governed by the applicable local laws of your country, state, or place of residence.

• To change these Terms, the change must be communicated in writing by the research team.
• If we decide not to enforce any part of these Terms at any time, that does not waive our right to do so in the future.
• If any term is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in full effect.
• These Terms survive termination of your account or participation.
